Arandas Taqueria - Slaton

There were cockroaches present in this restaurant. While using the restroom with my nieces and nephews after our meal, we witnessed them climbing out from the diaper changing station. When I called to speak to a manager, the woman who answered the phone reluctantly identified herself as the morning shift manager. I explained the situation in the restroom and expressed that it was unacceptable for a reputable restaurant. I requested a refund for our meal, but she explained that they were located next to fields and couldn't control the presence of cockroaches. She then proceeded to laugh and make a joke about the situation. Realizing I wasn't getting anywhere with her, I left my contact information and requested the owner to call me. Unfortunately, she mocked my request and hung up the phone. I have yet to receive a call from the owner three days later. I paid $115 for our meal and will not be returning to this restaurant.

I asked for a refund on our meal, but she said they couldn't control the roaches because they were located next to fields. She then laughed and said at least the roaches weren't in our food. I realized I wouldn't get anywhere talking to her, so I gave her my number and requested the owner to call me. She laughed and said sure before hanging up. It's been 3 days and I still haven't heard from the owner. We spent $115 and won't be going back.

The food was delicious and offered great value for money. The service was prompt and efficient. We had a take-out breakfast meal.
