Gustito Dominicano - Sleepy Hollow

I repeatedly clarified my order to the lady, but she still got it wrong. Afterward, she just left without informing anyone, leaving my family and me waiting for 10 minutes. When we asked how much longer it would take, the new lady on duty rudely insisted that I hadn’t paid. Thankfully, I had my receipt as proof. In total, it took 30 minutes to prepare just 2 tacos, 4 empanadas, and 2 drinks, bringing the entire wait time to 45 minutes. I was really frustrated. The food wasn’t even that good; in fact, it was quite disappointing. While the owner apologized for the mix-up, he also implied that it was my fault for their lack of service. To top it all off, their salsa and chips were spoiled, and that turned out to be the highlight of the meal.

The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.

I had a fantastic experience with amazing, authentic food and prompt service. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the prices were very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. Highly recommend!

Cool spot. I had the stew chicken and it was well sauced but a bit dry on the inside. Probably not visiting again but it was edible. Service was good and very attentive Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
