Cheese had an incredible pull , dense and the crust was chewy and flavorful. We had placed the order for a four a clock pick up and it was ready at four . That day there was a special if you ordered a pan pizza a free one topping thin was free and the young lady on the phone actually informed me instead of just taking the order and us not getting the special. The thin crust was good but the Chicago style was the star and went fast. I could be wrong but I only know of one place in New Orleans that does Chicago deep dish very hard dish to find but glad I found this place. Will be back for another visit great fresh quality pie !
This place was on our list of places to try since moving here. When we walked in there was one group there. The menu is small, but looks good. We tried the deep dish pizza and I was not disappointed at all. The sauce was really good and you better like cheese if you order this one. There was a ton of cheese and I loved every bit of it. Be warned, it takes a good 30 minutes for the pizza to come out, but it was worth the wait. Quite honestly, this place looks like it's a struggling business and could really use our support. I think it's worth a try and I will be going back to try the hotdogs and wings. It currently doesn't have alcohol, but I think I saw a sign posted that a license is in the works. Give it a try and help a local business out.
Do not eat at this place. they messed up my order 3 times. Talking to a manger did not help they did NOT refund the slop they gave me. I dumped the old cold stale chicken and burnt friends on the counter and told them to eat it and they lied on they Facebook post saying I assulted them. Rude!
I tried twice. The first time I got there a hour before close and was told it was too close to closing time to make a pizza. So, I tried again. Called in an order early, I was told it would be about an hour for my pizza. We went to pick it up, the kid that took the call didn't give the order to the kitchen and acted out of it. The owner was there and would rather argue with the kid than make it right. No more. Not gonna even try.
I saw a Facebook ad for place this afternoon and my wife just happened to be traveling through Slidell. She brought a gorgeous deep dish pie home, along with a a free thin crust! This is pizza that takes me back to childhood, the crust is great and the sauce is delicious. This is pizza worth driving from New Orleans for!
