Pinewood - Slough

Dissapointing! Very slow service and got most of the order wrong (incl wrong bottle of wine . There was a wedding next door and in order to drown out the wedding music, they played music very loud in the restaurant so loud you struggled to talk to each other. The food was good but the kids meals were a total rip off. £8.00 for a couple of bits of fish and a few chips (and peas that the staff forgot! Wouldn’t return I’m afraid

As always a great meal friendly staff. The only thing that is missing is some atmosphere.

The food was decent, my steak was nice and my partner had the pork belly, which was OK, the skin wasn't very crispy and the portion was fairly small. They didn't have the wine we chose from their menu and we had to wait quiet a while between courses for them to notice and serve our table. It's certainly not horrible here, so if you are staying in the hotel then it would be a decent place to eat, but don't make a special effort to head over here.

The Pinewood Hotel is very local after visiting for the Sunday lunch in January we decided it was so good,we needed to return. For £10 it is the best Sunday roast! Absolutely lovely.
