Another staff member came out from the back to take out the trash and then returned to the counter to put on gloves. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands, to which she replied that she had just taken out the trash. I pointed out that washing hands is important after handling trash, but she seemed confused by my comment. Frustrated, I decided to leave. Unfortunately, Smithfield Subway has lost a customer.
Delicious food at an excellent price! The variety and quality are impressive, and there are plenty of healthier options available too.
The young man at the counter was handling cloves, but after that, he adjusted his sagging pants, which didn’t seem very hygienic. Overall, not a great impression!
I ordered an oven-roasted turkey sub with bacon and an Italian BMT. The turkey sub was missing the bacon and most toppings, with only spinach and a few thin slices of turkey. I paid $16 for that sub! The Italian BMT was also disappointing; it had no ham, and some toppings I didn’t order were added instead. If you're thinking of ordering from this Subway, I wouldn't recommend it. I used to be a loyal DoorDash customer for them, but after this experience, I won't be ordering from them again. I’d rather pay a little extra and get my subs from a different store.
I did not receive the chips in my order. This has happened several times when I ordered through DoorDash.
