Nellie's Sweet Shoppe - Smithville

One of our favorite spots! They even offer tiny baby cones! The fudge is absolutely incredible!

The restaurant offers a delightful selection of classic candies like Chunky Bars, Bit-o-Honey, Mary Janes, Double Bubble, and Chuckles, among others. They have a variety of chocolates as well. You can often find popular bottled drinks like Pepsi, as well as some unique options. Plus, they serve Blue Bell ice cream. The space is roomy and exceptionally clean, with about five tables available if you prefer to sit down and enjoy your treat.

What a delightful little place! The fudge is excellent, along with the ice creams, jellies, and other treats. The owner is really friendly too. This is a wonderful discovery!

Some unexpected 80 degrees weather in February meant a trip for ice! This place is small but picturesque, and there is something special to suck the selection of steams, truffles and candy. My children chose their ice cream and brought them in side-by-side cones that I haven't seen for a long time! There is a green space right above the street, and we went outside to enjoy our cone in sunshine. I found this experience much more fun than a chain or go through ice rink. In addition, I feel happy to know that I support our community and a small business.

I just love this little old fashioned candy and fudge shoppe. The fudge is a little pricey for my taste but it's always a fun experience taking the kids to eye all the goodies and get some ice cream.
