Michael's Family Diner - Sneedville

You never really know when this "family" restaurant will be open. It's completely unpredictable. You might go there and find yet another handwritten note in the window explaining why they’re closed this time or why they decided to shut down early. If you’re lucky enough to visit on a day they're actually open, don't be surprised if they're out of most items around dinner time. After my previous review, I held onto some hope, especially since it was during the Covid lockdown, but not much has changed. This isn't a great way to manage a business that has the potential to be successful in a town that doesn't have many dining options.

I was very disappointed with my experience. The beef tips were tough and lacked flavor, and the French fries were severely undercooked. I understand that the staff is friendly and that the food is usually good, but tonight was not the case. I won’t be returning.

This charming local diner was quite busy during my visit. There aren't many food options in the area, but this place ensures that everyone has something to choose from. It's clean, offers delicious food, and is very affordable!
