Yakiniku Japanese Steakhouse

Stopped in due to the reviews. Food was mediocre at best, very bland and overpriced. The chef didn’t do any tricks like most hibachi places do, the sushi rolls were half the size but charge full price, steak was overcooked, and the fried rice had no flavor. Got the bill and was charged 18% gratuity for a party of 4. No where was this posted in the restaurant or menu and when we asked about the charge, we were told that locals know about this. Well, we are not locals and that charge should be posted! I’m still trying to figure out how this place got rated so high. The staff were very unfriendly, quite rude to be honest and the service was ok. I wouldn’t recommend. There are better places around that you can get hibachi/ sushi and enjoy a better atmosphere!

This place was terrible, they give you half a roll for full price. Also they added an 18% tip for 4 people instead of the regular 6 without a poster. Absolutely terrible would not rec and should shut down immediately. Also the main hostess was very very rude and terrible.

Stopped here for a sushi craving and it was mediocre at best. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The spicy tuna had a weird taste to it, I couldn’t finish it. The tempura roll was decent. Customer service is good. I’m assuming the hibachi food is better than the sushi according to these reviews.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly welcoming, and the food is fantastic. They have learned my preferences and always cater to my needs promptly.
