Delicious, fresh pizza and cookies at the top of the mountain? What more could you ask for? The staff here are incredibly friendly and are dedicated to crafting tasty pizzas and cookies. During my three-day stay in Snowmass, I visited this place twice! You’ll get your food much quicker than if you were to ski straight down the mountain. If you’re thinking about grabbing a cookie, treat yourself to one, or even two or three—they're that amazing! And the pizza is fantastic as well. A tip: savor your carbs while enjoying the stunning view from the window with bar seats in front.
Located at the summit of Big Burn Mountain in Snowmass, this cozy spot may be small, but it serves delicious pizza. The restaurant has two intimate rooms, making it a perfect place to warm up after a day on the slopes.
UP4PIZZA has THE best cookies in the entire world. They are cooked in a wood fired oven at 11,000 feet altitude. The cookies are crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and the chocolate absolutely melts into them. I crave them 24/7 and wish they were available year round... because not exactly easy to get to. It's a small space, just a heads up!
This restaurant definitely seems to persevere on account of the lack of options this high on the mountain. The service is fine, they are quite young and certainly seem to be skiers and snowboarders themselves. The pizza is pretty lackluster. The sauce tasted quite sugary, and there was little of it beneath the poor quality cheese. The day I went, they only offered cheese and pepperoni as their deluxe flavor, and for a mere two slices charged $18. They were also out of the cookies which are their claim to fame. I 'm not sure how they ran out of 1 of 2 items that are really served here and arguably the primary reason people come in. The tables are big and scratched with all sorts of initials and graffiti, and no patrons nor employees are wearing masks, though I suppose that is appropriate and legally permissible at time of writing. I have had experiences before where I enjoyed the product, so I was perplexed at the disintegration in quality.
