We have here in the past for a holiday in the ski season, but on this occasion it was only a day trip. as a non-ski driver I had time to get into the noble white for a late morning drink. since I was. the reception and bar area was renovated. it is really beautiful. modern, but still with an authentic feeling for the place. the personal was very friendly and very happy for me to read my book for an hour. this hotel is in a perfect location for ski on and out, but also beautiful to relax and watch the world over.
We pre booked a fondue evening here, one meat one cheese. The fondue restaurant has a dedicated room with about 10 tables in. It’s high quality contemporary. Service was very good. Huge amounts of food, even 3 types of potatoes!
As ski resort hotel locations go it doesn't get any better than the Edelweiss Gurgl..... the building itself is top class. The rooms are on the small size unless you premium pay but clean and comfortable. The staff range from excellent to very poor....No middle of the road.... in a hotel of this calibre and lets face it cost some staff require hospitality training. I am not going to name names. Food was good..... Not exquisite as experienced at The Weisental Hotel.
