The visit to the restaurant was extremely pleasant. We were greeted by a wonderful smiling team. The atmosphere in the restaurant is stylish, cozy and beautiful. Food is a true adventure and delight. The food was prepared with a lot of attention and attitude to the smallest detail. Chef Davide took the time to talk to us and present the dishes. It will be pleasure to visit again.
Little bit disappointed, because they had pizza before and also some kind of food for kids and now no kids menu. Carbonara pasta cannot be done because no bacon and so on. Duck magret ordered for the two kids was not medium, but well done which was not easy to cut. I have not visited Lazy for at least 2 years, but I will not visit soon for sure. For this price you can find something better. Service was good, but nothing special, before we had recommendations from the waiter, now nothing like that.
The place is very fancy with great and very professional staff. The offering of salad together with the main dish at a fixed price was worth it. However the food was too expensive for the quality proposed and was served very slowly. We had salads, lasagna, pasta and umbrina fish. The fish was great, the pasta was okay, but the lasagna was as flat as pancake and was not anything special.
Went there for a Saturday lunch. The service was excellent, one of the best we've experienced in Sofia. The chef came over to greet the customers at each table he was a very nice Italian guy. The design of the restaurant is cosy modern style, we like it. There was smooth jazz ambient music. We appreciated that it was much less loud than in many Bulgarian restaurants, but we would have reduced the volume even more. The meals were presented beautifully. The portions are rather small I had a flan as a starter and duck as the main, and I left a bit hungry. The flan ... I don't remember it's taste, though it looked as a piece of art. The duck was fine, but the meat was a bit hard. There was practically no side dish just some beautifully layed out foam. My partner had a salad with potatoes and greens and some minor quantity of seafood. The salad was very bland. The potatoes dominated the taste. For that price there I'd expect there to be more taste and more seafood. We were also surprised that the waiter asked my partner if she wants extra salt and pepper. I'd expect the chef in an expensive place like this knows what he's doing. No quantity of salt can compensate for the lack of taste. Overall we had a pleasant stay with a feeling of luxury, but the food was average, especially for it's price. Given the chef is Italian, next time I'll get pasta.
