Great host, very friendly and helpful. the chef came by to see if we need help to translate one of the menus. he even brought a cheese-peasing sample for us. the galettes (savoury pancakes) were really delicious the crepps were...amazing the children who are not easily satisfied also loved it. a beautiful meal. highly recommended.
I visited my daughter soissons, who is an English-speaking teacher in the local schools. it's over to eat here 3 of the 6 nights I was there. need more? lucie and jean christophe are super friendly and welcoming, and their crepe. are divine (I have triped, according to the recommendation of my daughter, guessing it's an acquired taste. . the smoked sausage was my favorite, and we also had a delicious apple-based dessert creampe. wonderful place.
We were on the nearby motorhome air, we were looking for a simple evening meal. as it was quite early, we were the only customers we started with, but others arrived later. the owner was very welcoming and there was a good selection of gallettes on...offer I can't remember exactly what we had, but it was well presented and went well with a bottle of dry apple wine. certainly as good a creamperie as we have experienced.
A map of the most varied that starts from the most unexpected classic cakes we wanted to taste: egg/maroilles/chorizo and st Jacques/tomates/chorizo shells served with rocket: a delight for taste buds. This establishment has nothing to envy a Breton crêperie. dessert pancakes were also delicious (chocolat/glace grilled almond and caramelized apples in calvados.)
