Once we finally sat down, it took forever to get our drinks. we said the waitress we had to hurry when we had a show at the Belly-Up. that didn't help. the eating was good, not great, I just ordered the wrong ding, I had not expected my huh piccata to be fried in a tempoura as buzz.
Ravioli was amazing, but the Alfredo chicken was very embarrassing. I understand that it's Valentine's Day that it might be a little crazy, but quality wasn't there. also a pretty louder and from Keygitarrist/Singer in the corner wasn't great. We've done it before the lights flicker like crazy. I'd shoot this place on a slower day again. we also had an 8 o'clock reservation and had space 845. so there is.
Came here for a Valentine's Day dinner with my husband and that was by far the worst we ever had. we found crush on yelp and saw such high reviews that we decided to make a reservation. we arrived 10 minutes early for our 7 clock reservation and we sat immediately. we sat at a table right on a window and I had asked if we could be moved to the table next to us because I was cold and the waitress answered, they could stay here, it would make me easier, I am not one to choose a fight, so I said okay, even if I was clearly uncomfortable. all night, she didn't even ask if we needed to fill in or how we do. I had to give them up to ask if I could get a drink from the bar. we placed our order immediately (7:15) but received no appetizer until 8:20 and our actual meal until 8:35. I understand that waiting for such an invigorated night perfect, although it was frustrating to wait that long for eating I understood because I also work with eating. When our escapes finally arrived, I could not believe how small the portions were and how extremely dirty it was. my man captivating alfredo tasted so terrible, absolutely no spice. it seemed as if no effort had been given into a meal that took an hour to cook. I ordered the pesto garnel and although the garnel was something pleasant, the pasta itself was so inconspicuous, no season again. the only thing I can praise about this restaurant is the live music they had (the musician had and amazing voice and played beautiful music) and the quality time that my man and I had spent talking when we waited for our waitress to give us one of their time. they save their coins and go to the olive garden. larger portions with salad and brotsticks, better costume service.
What a great restaurant. We sat in the lounge which was nice and relaxed. The menu was ample--it was hard to choose and will require more trips! The bar was full with locals and a musician came in. He doubled down the ambiance.
Ambiance and service were good. the food was fair to good, certainly not great. the wine list was terrible. the selection was OK but extremely expensive. Erath pinot noir at $80.00?!!! I can buy the same bottle of wine at Costco for $11.00. come on man! I understand restaurants need to charge more, I owned a restaurant as a young man. you need to reconsider your wine prices before you lose a lot more customers like us.
