Piroshki's Coffee And Tea Shoppe

I had a wonderful experience stopping for coffee and piroshki! The atmosphere is so charming, and the staff is extremely friendly. It's truly a hidden gem in the woods.

This coffee shop is absolutely charming. The interior has elegant decor, and the cashier is very knowledgeable. The owner is enthusiastic and chatty, but be aware that she might not always fully understand everything being said, as English is not her first language. We tried the pelmeni soup, chicken and rice soup, and potato and cheese piroshki, with the pelmeni soup being my favorite, although all the dishes were delightful. They also have a lovely selection of teas. Since everything is made from scratch, they occasionally run out of items; for instance, there was no borscht available when we visited. Overall, it's a cozy place that feels very welcoming. I highly recommend it as a wonderful lunch spot.

The tea party was priced at $19.99, which included a pot of tea (we chose lemonade) and three piroshkis. Given that each piroshki is $3.99 on its own, this was a fantastic deal! We sampled the bacon/potato, sausage/cabbage, and chicken/mushroom piroshkis. The bacon/potato and sausage/cabbage were our favorites, while the chicken/mushroom was just decent. Each piroshki was served with a tasty garlic and herb sauce. We also treated ourselves to an apple Danish, a blueberry lemon muffin, and a strawberry rhubarb muffin. All three were delightful, but the blueberry lemon muffin was the clear winner among the kids!

I’ve found my new favorite spot! It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a cup or pot of tea while diving into a good book. The coffee and pastries also looked incredible.
