First visit to the Railway Inn for Sunday lunch. Had a roast trio which was delicious. Very tasty, lots of meat, traditional trimmings. Would recommend. Price per person: £30–40 Recommended dishes: Roast Beef

Whilst we had a lovely evening, I wouldn't rush back. I was gutted the fish pie, which was divine, and was no longer on the menu. The food was average and didn't reflect well on the prices charged. If I compare it to the Malt Shovel or the lovely pubs at similar pricing, it wouldn't fare well. A real shame as the owners are lovely, warm, and welcoming. Just need a number of tweaks to get it up to standard. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Very disappointing visit for a Birthday treat... Dining area shabby and draughty... Front of house staff very pleasant but food service extremely slow... Quality of food left a lot to be desired, of the 8 dishes we ordered no one was satisfied with their meal. Certainly will not be returning or recommending. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
