My husband and I were finally able to enjoy a night out for the first time in five years since having kids, and we came here based on a local recommendation. Unfortunately, the server was exceptionally rude. At one point, when we asked for the check and had our credit card ready, she remarked that she thought we would be "those people." I’m not even sure what that was supposed to mean. My husband suggested she might just be having a rough day, which I can understand, but she was so friendly with the family seated next to us, going over the menu with them. It felt very strange. The food was mediocre, and I regret spending $100 here.
My boyfriend and I discovered this cozy little restaurant during our visit for the 4th of July week. It's quite small, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. We ordered the basil pizza, and even after a few years, we still talk about how amazing it was. I hope to return next year and try it again!
We make it a point to visit this takeout spot every time we're in Solvang, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The food is always fresh, delicious, and, most importantly, consistent. The pizzas are fantastic, but the lasagna is on another level of amazing—unlike any I've ever had. This is a must-visit place when you’re in this charming town.
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 I highly recommend trying the Watermelon Arugula with Burrata Salad, the Caprese Salad, and the Artichoke Margherita Pizza.
