Archar Seafood - Somerset

I went for a half bushel of blue crabs. Every crab was so heavy and meaty, the meat was sweet! My family enjoyed these crabs. I usually go to Newark but this place is closer by me and the owner Mike had the best customer service! That is my new crab spot and I have already told my family about it!

Today was my first visit to Archar Seafood Market, and I was thoroughly impressed by the attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness of the entire staff. The market was clean, organized, and well-stocked with a diverse selection of fish on display. I have lived in Somerset for 2.5 years, having moved from Durham, NC. Michael took the time to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase of catfish, which is one of my favorites. I will definitely recommend Archar Seafood Market on Hamilton Street to others!

I spent a bit more than I'm used to, but the crabs are always fresh and delicious. The store is very clean, and the staff is incredibly attentive.

We got there right as the store opened, and Michael warmly greeted us and assisted with our order. Shortly after, a line began to form, yet he made sure to greet each customer personally. The next day, when I picked up our order, everything looked incredibly fresh! Michael even provided me with a bag of ice and helped carry the items to my car. Two days later, he called to ensure we had a wonderful family seafood dinner. The customer service was exceptional, and the quality of the seafood was top-notch. I highly recommend checking out this place!

Amazing!!!! Stopped in for some blue crabs, they were so meaty and juicy. It was our first (certainly not last) time. Owner Mike was one of the nicest guys ever. He gave my 7 year old a bag of shrimp for dinner this evening. Super nice guy, very business smart, and food was so fresh! Cannot wait to come back to try the sushi grade fish! Cannot recommend enough!
