Serendipity At The Orange Door

I had never been here but my mom and her friends always talking about how great the food is and how friendly the staff are. So today I tried it and was not disappointed at all. The waitress was awesome and the chicken tenders and fries were delicious. Iwill most definitely be back.

Quaint place in downtown Somerset. There was a decent crowd but no wait on a Friday at 7. The server was very personable and did a good good of explaining the evening specials. All parties thought their selections were OK . Nothing noteworthy of bad, butnothing noteworthy of good either. I chose the salmon and I would not get it again. It was overly fishy smelling upon arrivaland was heavily seasoned which I am fine with,but slightly over cooked and dry. I am not a fan of dull so the doll sauce on theside was no help to me. Ymmv. It was reasonably priced and something good for a more intimate evening away from the hwy 27buzz. If for no other reason, it 's a local eatery, so give it a try and try to support independent businesses.

This restaurant is one of the best places I've been to for lunch or brunch! I brought a friend here to catch up and the food was delicious. I knew I had to bring my husband back and he was not disappointed either. I had the daily quiche lunch special, which included a choice of quiche, fresh fruit, and sweet bread. My husband opted for the daily lunch special with meatloaf, carrots, potatoes, bread, and added some sweet bread on the side. The tomato soup was amazing, one of the best I've ever had! I can't wait to come back again. The only issue I had was that there were a lot of dead flies in the window both times I visited, which was a bit off-putting.

The food at this restaurant was tasty, but my enjoyment was overshadowed by a staff member named Kayla. Her attitude was unpleasant, she displayed unprofessional and rude behavior towards me, other patrons, and her colleagues. To my surprise, when I requested to speak with a manager, I discovered that she was the manager. I have visited this establishment on numerous occasions in the past and have always had positive experiences. However, if the restaurant continues to be managed by someone like Kayla, I fear its future may be at risk.

The food was amazing and the service was great. We ordered the ham and cheese quiche, which was incredibly tasty and came with fresh fruit. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a small town and is a must visit if you're in downtown Somerset. You will not be disappointed! ??
