Bloc 11 Cafe - Somerville

It's great. The lattes, the sandwiches, the baked goods, the atmosphere, the unionized staff! Not cheap.

I absolutely adore bloc and visit frequently! The restaurant space is stunning with rotating artwork that is available for purchase. They have cleverly converted an old bank vault into a seating area. The menu at this cafe is extensive and the food is delicious. They offer online ordering and have a smooth process for ordering in person. The staff is friendly and a delight to interact with. The outdoor patio is a hidden gem with picnic tables, a bench under a tree, and other outdoor dining furniture.

The Vegan Club is fantastic, and the coffee is delicious.

This cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a weekday breakfast. The sourdough bagels are soft and chewy, and the scallion cream cheese is creamy and flavorful. The cardamom croissant is a must-try for cardamom lovers, and may even convert those who aren't fans. Ordering ahead online or at the kiosk is easy, and everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this cafe.

I got the egg and cheese bagel and it was sooo good. It seems to be a simple ingredient to make but definitely not. It’s very very good and most people go there during the morning I like the design and the idea of the cafe (it used to be a bank)
