Earls Kitchen Somerville

My sister and I have been eating here twice in the month since this summer, although this was the first time that I made reservations. I have been a little food allergy and was surprised [and satisfied] with the intake of earls, during preparation of my food, but this time I had not the same experience. I always order the same -salmon (only olive oil), plain rice and broccolini (only olive oil. nothing else). I am anaphylaxis for many foods and explain about cross-contamination. this time, after I placed my order, someone (I think it was a manager or team manager) came to our table and said that she couldn't prepare my broccolini as I have requested and the broccolini is already premarinade. I explained that this was not a problem in the past (although I ordered the same meal I had to take home, and when I came home, I found the broccolini was actually marinated on her and I could not eat the meal). After my sister calms her that “Yes, I had prepared my meal so often [at Earl’s] before” the person then said, maybe they could not do it because there is no “extra” and maybe if there is extra, they are in the position to do this. now I am sure that a company earls can do better than the everyday almost food restaurants to receive their clientele - in fact I know earls dos, because earls did it in the past.

Very accommodating waiting staff. Once I told her that my food was cold, she chased it away and brought me a fresh hot plate.

Fiancés order was incorrect, when sent back to the kitchen it was clear all they did was remove the unwanted items instead of making the new dish. We were sat near the server station and had servers just hanging around us while we tried to eat and have conversation which was awkward. The server was pleasant and the meal was removed from the bill but overall less than ideal experience.

I can’t remember when I have been in such a loud and noisy restaurant! Made me want to eat and get out quickly!

Everyone's order came out with something wrong with it or not cooked the correct way. Service from the waiter was great just seemed like the food was lacking especially for the price. would not recommend
