The employee at the front convinced us to try the Maple Bacon Cheddar and I'm glad she did! We both really enjoyed the pizza. The MBC was great, slightly sweet syrupy taste, but not too overwhelming. The margarita was also very good. The crust was slightly thinner than I'm used to, but in a good way — it had a very satisfying crunch. The sauce and cheese also tasted very fresh. We each also had one of the draft beers on tap, which were also very good. As some others have said, it's trendy but not overstated inside. Really enjoyed the place, the food, and the customer service, and we will be back again.
No lie did not like this place when it first opened a few years back. That said, I now consider it my favorite pizza place in the Somerville area. Pizza by the slice for quick eats or fresh pizzas to order. Nice beer selection and cool ambiance with updated bar top. Trendy but causal and not overstated inside.
They had great music, their slices are very good. I got a Buffalo chicken and a maple bacon cheddar pair of slices with their house wine. I enjoyed the wine a lot! 6 for a glass and it's enjoyable, I recommend. I had a table for myself but they have booth seats. Everyone working was nice. They were busy, not a problem when hanging out while eating. I went for another slice and glass of wine cause I saw how nice the employees were. Everyone Friday night June 3rd was chill cool, friendly. I sat down spent the time alone on the phone, no one was too loud or distracting, hopefully I wasn't either. I'll be back for other nights I need pizza!
Best NY-style pizza in Boston, with chewy, thin, well-charred crusts. You can order their most popular flavors by the slice, but they also have some more innovative topping combos if you order whole pies. The broccoli rabe and sausage ricotta are always excellent. I'm not vegan, but I also caught myself going back for a second slice of the vegan pie my friend ordered (featuring yummy dollops of almond ricotta). The drinks (alcoholic or not) are excellent and reasonably-priced, and most of the staff is friendly.
To be honest, I was skeptical of any place named 'Dragon Pizza ' but I had a coworker recommend it to me. At first, the menu seemed a little pricey but after tasting the pizza, any doubts I had were gone. Everyone has their own preference for pizza but Dragon Pizza knew exactly how I liked mine done. By far my favorite place to order from, happy to have this gem so close by.
