Scott Brothers Kitchen - Somerville

Everyone who works here is super friendly. The food is excellent! We've had their food at pop-ups, the Medford farmers market, and of course at Winter Hill Brewing. The ban me sandwich is fresh, flavorful, and big! Scott Brothers also makes the best biscuits I've ever had. I recommend trying the egg and cheese biscuit with fantastic homemade corned beef hash. The sausages and brats are fabulous. Today I tried a Danish with cheese and strawberry rhubarb jam, and it was perfect. These guys have an extremely high standard and we've never been disappointed. Give them a try!

Tasty food, but disappointingly small portions for the price.

I'm not sure if my experience is going to help others. I went there thinking that this was a barbecue joint. It's really more of a brewery that happens to have some barbecue. The food was fine, but looked much more substantial and inviting in pictures. I got a tray with a little bit of meat and some dry cornbread. The meat was good, but not as juicy as I would expect. The sauce was understated in a pleasant way (too many places like this have aggressively overstated sauces).The beer is great. The deviled eggs were really good too. I'd go back if friends wanted to go, without complaint, but I don't think I would choose to return.The collard greens were very unusual. I liked them, but I don't think some traditionalists would be happy. Very umami tasting in a way that made me think of a delicate fish or maybe a rich chicken broth.

Great service and the food was delicious! Brisket and Mac Cheese hit the spot and portions were big. Great spot with some good atmosphere. Will def be back.
