Contribuisci feedbackOn Sunday the Super Bowl to celebrate an early day. Service was exceptional, food was amazing, drinks were one of a kind, I would not have asked for a better night. Bill was really high.
That was the best steak I've had for years! Food and service were fabulous. Very expensive, but good food is always!
Came for dinner and ordered the Porterhouse for 2 that went from the last time I was here, but it was perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. We also ordered lobster Mac and cheese as well as sautéed spinach. It was a Saturday night, so it was a bit crowded, but we had a stand so that this was a good thing not to have to sit next to many people. Also a few drinks made by the bartenders were big drinks. At the end of the night the bill came and was good over $300. Great food and good service. A little pricy but definitely come back and recommend it, but better reserve because they remain packed.
I brought my mom to Mother's Day. This restaurant is popular all the time and mine. Food and service is for nothing. I was with my wife several times and never had a bad meal or service. This assessment comes with the highest recommendations. First class. They won't be disappointed.
I think reviewing steakhouses is hard as it is very dependent on what you are looking for as both the experience and the taste of the steak. Wolfgang is based off of a German type steakhouse of which one of the prime examples is Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn, NY. Given the creators of Wolfgang steakhouse had careers in Peter Luger’s for many years… the menus are very similar. The steak at Wolfgang is a dry aged steak cooked in copious amounts of butter. The steak is soft and there is a large amount of melted steak fat and butter fat that piles up since they set the plate at an angle. This can be used as a sauce for the steak. If you desire charred ends and a crisp on the steak, this is not that kind of steak. If you go to Wolfgang, this is the kind of steak you expect as you would if you ate at Peter Lugers. If you prefer steak at STK steakhouse, that steak has more charring and crisp. The dishes in Wolfgang is usually average and the best reason to go is the steaks and the bacon especially if you like steaks cooked in this style. I’ve gone to this location less in recent years compared to the Tribeca location where I think the food has been more consistent and service a bit sharper there. The decor is more upscale than Peter Lugers but the dishes and price point are similar.
