Taco Loco Mexican Grill - Somerville

The atmosphere was great, and the staff was really friendly. The food is genuinely authentic. Just a heads up, you need to request the hot salsa—they don't provide it automatically. What they do bring is quite mild, barely noticeable. Once we got our hands on the actual salsa, the meal was fantastic! We enjoyed four tacos and a beer for just $12.

Considering the current prices at Chipotle, this place is a game-changer. You can enjoy an authentic burrito with a side of chips for under $12. I would visit here every day if it weren't so far away. However, it's definitely worth the 45-minute to hour-long drive every once in a while.

This was a absolutely the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The staff is rude (it’s actually sad because they clearly don’t want to work there) and the service kind of racist (they have two versions of guacamole and the one they serve to non Spanish speaking people taste literally like slush). The food is hospital food bland. I would not recommend anyone to this establishment and I genuinely do not understand why it has such high ratings.

Went here a few times after friends kept talking about it. The food and smoothies are good. Gets really busy at dinner time but generally quick. They have a variety of entrees from burritos to tacos to tortas.
