At several visits to the hunting castle, I am a split opinion. The food was delicious every time, sufficient and acceptable from the price. However, the operation was overwhelmed and unfriendly at many passes. The terrain is really nice. However, parking fees are increased from €2 to €4. For a short visit quite expensive.

The Possen is a popular destination that I always like to visit. Especially during the weekend you meet many families with children. In addition to the restaurant with beer garden, the spacious grounds also include a view tower and a small zoo with real bears. By the way, the zoo can be visited without admission. The owner of the site probably earns his money mainly with food and drink. Sunday afternoon and in good weather it is very full to expect to be on the kiosk in the snake about 10-15 minutes. Those who take the restaurant table will have to wait about the same time for food. There are also people who bring their picnic basket themselves.

Hello, We (my husband, my two children and I) were the second in the restaurant "Jagdschloss" on the Possen. I want to say honestly, the food and the service were just great!!! The food (pore medals in herbal butter with mushrooms and roast potatoes) was well seasoned, prepared and really just delicious! Short hand we chose a dessert (fresh waffles with hot acid cherries) just as delicious!!! In addition, for the second time, we are kindly turned to us by a very nice and sympathetic service (Mrs. van Hees) and how customers are always looking for our wishes! We just want to be served by you!!! We felt comfortable, a small proposal for improvement would be the ambience of our side. But we do not want the needle in the haystack we always like to come back!!! On this way again DANKE for the incredibly delicious food and the accommodating service!!! Leisure and leisure park To the trumpet is located directly outside of Sondershausen, so it is recommended to drive directly by car and use the generous parking lot. There are many animals up there from guinea pigs to brown bears to Cheetahs, so everyone should come at his expense, whether big or small.
