Wonderful food and service in a cute small restaurant!
Odd experience. server seemed to be in a rush. Food was okay which was too bad as I was looking forward to here the most for the time there. Restaurant across the street had some interesting music playing quite loud as well.
Cafe La Haye was outstanding. Friendly, efficient service with great food is a winning combination.
Had a good meal, definitely not great. I had the burrata cheese special which both my husband and I thought was bland. My main was a morel mushroom risotto with saffron and crispy calamari. They forgot the calamari, but brought it fairly quickly. The calamari was amazing. The risotto was just OK and had too much salt for my taste. My husband's salad and New Zealand snapper dishes were both very good. For dessert, we shared a flourless chocolate torte that was delicious. Overall, I was disappointed, given they received a Michelin star, but I would go back and try them again.
