Enoteca Della Santina - Sonoma

I absolutely loved the ambiance at this restaurant! The outdoor seating area is stunning, resembling a beautiful garden with a lovely fountain. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. We ordered two different pasta dishes, and they did not disappoint! We tried the gnocchi and the duck pappardelle with truffle oil. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked—soft but not mushy—truly comfort food! The pappardelle was al dente, and I particularly enjoyed the distinct flavor of the truffle oil. Both pasta dishes reminded me of authentic Italian pasta! I couldn’t resist the bread, especially with the balsamic vinegar it came with. It was a bit thicker than regular balsamic, yet not as thick as a glaze. It was sweet, and I couldn’t stop dipping my bread into it along with some olive oil. For dessert, we had the torta di cioccolata, which was absolutely delicious! I loved the chocolate mousse topped with cherry liqueur, and the amaretto crust added a delightful touch! I definitely want to come back for their pasta!

I had a great experience with their rotisserie chicken to go, paired with a glass of Barolo. While it appeared that the restaurant was somewhat understaffed, the food was fantastic, and the staff were very helpful once you managed to get their attention. The interior has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for adult families or a lovely date.

I attempted to make a reservation recently by calling during their advertised hours, but I tried five times and only reached a ringing phone without any response. I'm really disappointed.

Stumbled upon this wine bar looking for happy hour before our dinner rez. Got a glass and the burrata, and promptly cancelled our reservations. This spot is so chill, unfussy, and relaxing. We had great wine, bread, burrata as mentioned and shared pasta. Amazing spot, disconnected from the tourist hype, was just spot on.

Food is wonderful but management doesn't seem to care about their patrons. I saw long term customers walk out never to return.
