Baracuda - Sorsogon

We went there for dinner. We were a group of 8 non-vegetarians and 3 vegetarians. As we were in the bar next door, we asked for and ordered our vegetarian fare before hand. When we were ready the three of us went over for dinner. We did get a potato dish, a salad and some pasta that were quite tasty. However, the owner kept wanting to tell us that she would rather not cook anything in any particular style, just add salt and pepper and sear the seafood. Was that because she had no knowledge of cooking or was she just trying to get off easy?! We were however not interested in seafood since we were vegetarians. We had our meal and left. The non-vegetarians came over and did not find the attitude of the owner accommodative or helpful and thus decided not to have their dinner there.

By the time we visited this place it seemed to be only a cocktail bar - not a restaurant. By anyway, we really loved it! The cocktails were delicious and view from the terrace was directly on the sunset, so very romantic.

Des 3 soirees a DOnsol, nous en avons passées 2 la bas tellement le cadre et la gastronomie nous a plu. Certes, ça n est pas bon marche pour un resto philippin, mais les plats simples et goutus et l ambiance chaleureuse le valent bien. La patronne est aux petits soins et le cadre, tout en bambou, est vraiment agreable.

I'm glad I listened to all of the excellent reviews...my experience here was amazing. Fish was fresh and excellently prepared. Squid salad was to die for. And the calamansi margaritas were a perfect compliment to the meal. Juliet was a joy to meet and a pleasure to get to know. I will be back again for sure!!p.s. Thanks for the moped!!

We waited a long time and the grilled fish was good, but not excellent. Other dishes are also good. No crab available. Shrimp dish was also good.
