You can actually see fish in the water below and hear the sound of the water as it flows past the mill. We loved this little family run business which is only open for the season. We opted for plain old fish and chips whilst my mother had perch fish with a white butter sauce. The food is good plain food but it is more about the relaxing place and the nice view. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Be warned that you must not be in a rush because everything is cooked to order by the owner and it can take time both to be served and to receive your food. That said, we were not in a hurry and the wait did not disturb us as we enjoyed some local Anjou rose wine. There is plenty of space to park a car in the meadow beside. This is not a posh place, it is simple, unpretentious and a little special. I would go back again with friends to enjoy this charming place. Oh, I also loved the French music from many decades playing in the background!
Took the family for the fixed Sunday barbecue. Absolutely marvellous. Great starter salad course . Excellent fish and chips , very good size portions and lovely dessert. Of course lots of red wine flowed too. Sat outside on the balcony overlooking the river and had just a splendid time

The hotel tried to offer us a €20/person buffet for dinner but it was definitely lacking when we looked at it.
