The service was very good and our food was excellent. if in soulac sur mer it is worth a meal. we were there three times the week.

Le Ku-G has a nice young atmosphere and a very good French kitchen with focus on fish , oysters, crabs and scrimps. A lot of space both in- and outside and very nice young relaxed staff. The resturant has an attractive relation between price and...quality, and the menu price is around 30€ excl. drinking. Better restaurant than you normally experience in relative small holiday cities

The menus and pricing in restaurants in Soulac are familiar to a coastal resort. Steak; mussels or fish. The food was good with a cost of e100 for my family of 5. But I write as I was appauled at the waiters treatment of a...family of 5 British tourists who like us decided to choose Ku-G. Ad a restauranteur myself I followed protocol and awaited to be sat and spoke in my intermediate French. At 3pm on this day, they walked in sat down and awaited service after 10 mins a male waiter came to them spoke in French released they were Brits then informed them that the kitchen closes at 3.30pm. Up they got and left. I pointed this out to my wife (2nd generation French so fluent) that we were lucky to get seat. Then a French family came in sat down and were served. The restaurant was 50% full so no rhyme or reason why the British tourist were affectively discriminated against at this restaurant. This incident tarnished my impression of this restaurant and as a frequent visitor to Soulac I know I will not frequent it again based on this discrimination. Such a shame in this modern world.

6 of us in our party, glad we pre-booked. It was a Wednesday night at the end of the busy season but this restaurant was jam packed, inside out. Lovely eating area outside, but we sat inside. Food was lovely and really good portion...sizes; my husband ordered duck but they had sold out so recommended the veal, it was the size of a T-bone steak! Quality of food is high but prices are very reasonable for what you get. Service was friendly and efficient (bit slow towards the end, but they weren't in any hurry to get rid of us! Overall would be more than happy to go here again.
