What a lovely little cafe situated near the beach. The staff were super friendly and the coffee was delicious. We had some scones which were hands down the best scones I have ever had. We sat outside as the weather was quite pleasant but there is plenty of room inside. We didn't have any main food, but what we saw being served to other people looked nice.
Called in with friends on Easter Saturday and we were made very welcome. Great atmosphere. Ayse, Alicia, Susan and Callum were all so friendly and attentive during our visit. They are great ambassadors for the company. Will be back for sure.
The best flat white coffee ever. I also had a top notch cheese scone. The staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Don't miss this wee Troon treasure!
There is nothing more irritating than a sign that says, Wait here to be seated and staff just walk past you when you are standing at that sign looking at the only vacant table. Eventually, you catch the eye of the staff at the counter, point to the vacant table and get a nod of the head that it 's ok. Why bother with the sign??!! Then you have to wait ages for the order to be taken had to go up to the counter to place it. And when it comes to pay the bill the person who has just taken payment from the previous customer turns and walks away as if you were invisible. In between we had a nice cup of coffee and scone served by a very pleasant young person. Why can 't staff be trained in the very elementary skill of acknowledging your presence and letting you know you will be attended to shortly? It would make all the difference but, sadly, cafe/restaurant owners don 't seem to teach their staff basic social skills. Also, get rid of the Wait here.. sign if you don 't really mean it.
