The staff is friendly, but the toilets are not suitable for disabled persons. Additionally, the stairs can be hazardous. Despite these drawbacks, the food is delicious.
While waiting for my dad who was in hospital my daughter and I decided to pop in here for lunch we thought we might be too late as lunch finished at 2.30 and it 2.10 when I asked the lovely girl serving said no problem quickly got us seated and took our drinks orders I had coke my daughter has fresh orange and lemonade which was delicious we then ordered our food my daughter had breaded king prawns with sweet chilli I had the mushroom soup both arrived quickly and both fresh and piping hot we then both had sweet n sour chicken balls with fried rice it was to die for I’ve never tasted anything so good and fresh and as authentic in years I visited the toilets and it was a real slice of nostalgia as I used to come to this restaurant with my parents many years before there is not one thing I can fault about this place and even better at superb value meals cost just over £22 I will most definitely be back here
Found this Cantonese restaurant on line and thought we would give it a try. Well so glad we did as it's one of the best we've been to. Lovely friendly staff and the food was excellent. A very busy restaurant which tells all. Will definitely go back next time in Ayr and would recommend.
Good food friendly service reasonable prices. 2 happy visitors to Ayr. Back one day! Miles better than others we tried. Buffets are no longer on our list and camp site breakfast was a sorry joke
I recently tried the hot and sour soup at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The soup was packed with large shrimp, which was a nice change from the usual small portions found in other Chinese restaurants. The ribs were a bit over-fried but still tasty, with a generous amount of salt and pepper seasoning. The deep-fried chili beef was mainly batter, but it was flavorful. The egg fried rice was loaded with egg and green onion, which I appreciated. Overall, I would rate the food 7/10 and the service was excellent. Despite having only one waitress on duty, she provided great service and was very attentive. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant next time I am in Ayr.
