On a miserable day in Ayr, my friend and I popped in for a bowl of soup. Lovely warm welcome and great service. We both had pea and ham soup with fresh bread and then both of us had baked potatoes (one with tuna mayonnaise and one with coronation chicken) .... these were served with side salad and creamy coleslaw. We finished off with coffee. Tasty, fresh food at reasonable prices, what's not to like? Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Oh my word, me and ma wee mammy are in heaven with this place. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked in, we had home-made potato and leek soup with a sandwich and a pot of tea. Absolutely delicious, you can't beat home made and good company, we will definitely be visiting again. Five star quality.
