Bathed in sunlight, the restaurant takes on a brighter, more vibrant ambiance compared to its sultry evening atmosphere. Our server, a young gentleman, exuded professionalism and attentiveness, elevating our dining experience. What truly sets Yakiya apart is its culinary journey. There's no need to pore over a menu here; instead, you simply take a seat, and they guide you through an enchanting selection of meats, veggies, seafood, and delightful desserts. It's a delightful gastronomic adventure where each dish tells a story of its own. Yakiya excels not only in delivering exceptional food but also in creating memorable moments. If you're celebrating a special occasion, don't hesitate to share it with them. A birthday is being celebrated, a birthday shot is ingeniously poured down a bone marrow slide. While I didn't partake in this intriguing ritual, I'm curious if it imparts an interesting twist to the shot perhaps an infusion of flavor. In summary, Yakiya is a dining destination that consistently raises the bar for culinary excellence. Its inviting atmosphere, combined with a commitment to quality and service, ensures that every visit is an unforgettable experience. Whether you're marking a special occasion or simply seeking a remarkable meal, Yakiya is the place to be.
One of the best bbq experiences with a set menu ranging from raw meat to cooked. It's priced per person like an omakase but with meat instead. Every dish came out was perfect, the a5 was melted in your mouth like a meat butter. You get a server assigned and do all the grilling to make sure they are grilled to perfection. We were very pleased and happy that we found this place, we enjoyed the experience very much and would be back for more.
Celebrated my 51st birthday here with my wife. We were treated to a VIP dinner experience. Reminded us of our trip to Prague where we had our 1st michelin star dining experience. 10 course prefixe menu offering the highest of quality in meats. Several dishes used A5 Wagyu from Japan. Our server was very funny and engaging. Would love to come again!!!
My girlfriend took me here as a surprise birthday dinner so I didn't know what to expect. I hadn't even seen the menu! Overall, the ambience was lovely, the service was top-notch with a very friendly waiter, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The rice with bone marrow and A5 miyazaki wagyu were 2 of the top highlights of the night. The most memorable one was taking a birthday shot of Vodka poured down through the bone marrow. I can't wait to come back here!
I literally left the restaurant absolutely speechless. Every single thing about our dinner it was perfect. I love that they pay attention to every single detail and do a great job celebrating the special occasion. I really loved that they ask upfront about your names and any dietary restrictions or things you just don't want to eat and in my case raw meat, they asked upfront if we want to skip the raw dishes which we did and I really appreciated that. The drinks were as exceptional as the food. It's been a long time since I've been this impressed. I'm excited to hear they're opening soon closer to our home. Pasadena is opening soon. Can't wait to have another mind blowing dinner soon.
