Pearl Lake Rv Resort - South Beloit

Pearl Lake is our favorite swimming place in the area for a fun time, great people, beautiful sandy beaches , and clear water. We love camping here as well. The new owner is great and has exciting plans in the works to make Pearl Lake even more of a hidden gem than it already is !It always feels like a safe and comfortable environment and it’s perfect for kids !

1st visit July 25, 2023. $20 admission. The water was clean. Beach area all sand and clean. Sand is deep, and the beach slopes downwards towards the water, so that takes a bit to get use to as you walk. You can bring in your own cooler, which is a huge plus. Today, we had to go down approximately 12 steps to get to the beach area. However, the new owner has a cement ramp area poured and drying, so I'm sure that the ramp will be open within a few days and then no steps are necessary to access the beach. I would have given it 5 stars, but the bathrooms are far away, and they need to add more trash containers along the beach as currently only one on each side of the lagoon. Restaurant is not open yet, but you can tell the building is being worked on. We had a very, very nice afternoon enjoying the beach water and it was well worth the price to us. The new owner is doing a great job restoring Pearl Lake!

My first visit! I expected a ramp to the beach since you can bring your own cooler etc but met steep stairs. People were kind and helped me. Very clean beach, cool clear water. Construction is going on right now so it wasn't as quiet as I was hopjng. I will be going more.

Beautiful beach. So clean and welcoming Fun for the whole family.

This has been a wonderful place to camp, swim, and fish. Fishing is reserved for campers only which I like because it does not become a huge pressured area. The swim beach is awesome and they have a water obstacle course you can pay to use. Highly recommend this place to those looking for a good camping area. They also have areas for scuba diving!
