Boo's Backyard Bbq - South Bend

I was in south bend tday and I want to try the BBQ today and its not open till 5 omg

Sadly, the owner has passed away, and is no longer open, he was a good guy and friend, will be missed! Rip

On our way to Chicago to see Iron Maiden. So I pulled up my Yelp App and looked for something local. We decided on BBQ and found this place. We love to try BBQ in different places all over the US. I don 't think we 've ever had any really bad BBQ. This was no exception. I wish I could remember what we had, but I can 't locate any pics on my phone or 'cloud '.

Great place. The meat is amazing. Juicy not too chewy. And there sauces are awesome. Love there tangy sauce. Perfect. The meat is as good if not better. Only other thing is there coslaw could use some. Taste. It's just bland. Personally.

Love Pitt's, classic south bend spot right across from my alma mater, John Adams. Great for catering large events or for a quick bite. Try the Mac and cheese!!
