The service was so kind and personable I enjoyed the people working as much as I did the delicious crapes! I would say when it comes to good breakfast coffee I am hard to please but their black coffee was a perfect addition to sip on between layers of sweet crape! The environment was a very easy one that invites you into a simple casual fun breakfast before your next flight! We ordered The Lovemaker: a rich nutella and strawberry crape The Breakfast monster: Was the favorite from cheesy richness with the roasted squash and sweetness from the red onions it was truly a hearty breakfast that leaves you satisfied!!! The sugar shack: a simple light fluffy crape layered in buttery goodness with Vermont's best nutty syrup, we loved combining this with the breakfast monster and a black coffee!!! Truly a memorable combination!
By itself, the crepe I had was four-star flavor-worthy. The Heartbreaker was a delicious combo of strawberries and bananas covered in melty Nutella, and it was delicious. But the speed of service and portion size were poor enough to knock my rating down to two stars. For one not-so-bIg crepe, it took the staff nearly half an hour to prepare it, and it cost roughly $13. Again, I liked the flavor, but would probably avoid the airport location next time and the stress of having to board a plane at a specific time.
Delicious crepe!!! I went for a slightly savory choice and was impressed with how well rounded the flavors are. The small side salad was lovely. Didn't expect much from the latte, but it packed a punch.
I wanted to try The Skinny Pancake as a breakfast option on this trip (there was a location very close to our Airbnb) but since I saw that pretty much the only option to eat at the airport was The Skinny Pancake, we decided to get to the airport a bit early and try it on our way home. There are plenty of options to have a crepe here and to be honest, I've never had a breakfast sandwich/wrap made out of crepes, so of course I had to try one. My bf isn't a crepe fan so he ordered a burger, which they had no problem preparing at 945am. The crepes here are thick and hearty with a slightly sweet taste. They are delicious. And adding crumbled bacon, a fried egg and cheese only made it more delicious. The fries are pretty stellar here as well. They have many a coffee option, but I love airplane window seats and hate bothering/inconveniencing strangers so I try to keep diuretics at a minimum at the airport so I just had a chai. It was a boxed chai. It was ok.
This is good airport food at a good price. I decided to try the Hot Apple Crumble (courtesy of the cashier's recommendation). The apples are sweet and flavorful, and the ice cream on the side is substantial. For about $12 this was worth the price!
