The foods was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend it. I certainly would go back!
The Tickell family took the pub over in the 60's..It was originally called The Coach and Horses The Squire of Whittlesford who was the owner of this place over 40 years would turn in his grave. The whole historic feel of the place has been destroyed Food was mega expensive and would say not up to the job ! Just another chain using the location and history for serving up bland meals for extremely high prices.
Everything was faultless We had an excellent Sunday lunch prior to half the family flying home after Christmas. The best was saved until last
We are so lucky to have The Tickell Arms in our village. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and the service friendly and efficient. We decided at the last minute to see if we could have lunch and managed to find a free table. The food was absolutely excellent- roast pork and roast cauliflower steak. Lovely to see James back at the Tickell Arms. Thanks to everyone for a great time.
