It wasn't fresh this time. Fish was hard and some of the hush puppies were old.
It was a while since we ate here, but not happy with the precooked then dipped and roasted chicken. Order a family meal and asked for half of the chicken gum and sobriety. Fish wasn't the best. You changed the sweet n acid sauce. Let us say that I visit this place again is very unlikely. I Would recommend waste
I went here around noon for lunch. I got the fish and chicken meal and three salmon tacos for my husband. The wait in the drive-thru was very long. I had one other person in front of me, and I had to wait 10 mins for theirs and almost 10 for mine. When I got home, I noticed they didn't give me my rice, and my husband's tacos were practically empty. There was barely any cabbage and filling inside. He said it tasted good because of the sauce, but it would have been better with more filling inside. I was also disappointed because they only gave me one packet of tartar sauce for three big pieces of fish. I even asked the women at the window if they gave me extra tartar sauce, and she said yes. Idk if I'll be going back but if I do, I'll be going inside to order.
The staff here should be very proud. Politeness, cleanliness, and speed of service are all at a peak at this location regardless of the time of day. Additionally, while I don't usually comment on the quality of food from chains because most people are already quite familiar with their menus, Long John Silver's handles every entree and side with the finesse of a family owned restaurant. The chain as a whole, and this location in particular, really is the best place around for battered fish and its time tested accompaniments.
