Sainsburys - South Derbyshire

We went to this restaurant for a casual Sunday dinner and waited for 20 minutes for 2 bacon baguettes. We had finished our cups of tea before the food arrived, perhaps they should have offered us another pot! The tables were not cleaned promptly, maybe they were short-staffed. The bacon baguette was crispy and the tea stayed hot.

Here for a lunch with my mother, the waiting queue stretched almost to the doors; 25 minutes before we could order everything with only 2 employees. Come on, sainsburys you can do better!

I went to the newly renovated cafe for a coffee and was shocked by the long wait. There were many people waiting and only one staff member serving. I felt sorry for them. The service needs to be more efficient. It took me 25 minutes to place my order, which is not acceptable.

I called a quick lunch yesterday. I had lachsfilet with new kartoffels and salat. my man had lasagne and salate. Both meals were hot and freshly cooked. the service was fast. personal pleasant. only critique is that the floor was creepy, where a small child obviously had thrown on the floor or had thrown off. they should have been clarified by the staff when they had clarified the tables. except that eating was a good value and better than we had in many pubs and caffes.

I used to visit this restaurant every Thursday for the past few years and always experienced excellent service in a friendly, clean environment. However, in the last couple of months, all the regular staff have disappeared and have been replaced by incompetent men who can't get orders right. The stock is low, with empty cake stands, a broken pop machine, and refrigerator cakes that are not replenished. The tables are left uncleared, the floor is dirty, and the cashier was observed wiping his nose on the back of his hand. The queue is long and slow-moving, with customers debating whether to wait or leave. Sainsbury's, please improve the quality of service at this establishment. You can do better than this.
