While the waitstaff may not always perform their best, I don't blame them as they are likely just young kids working for a paycheck and tips. If I could, I would give this restaurant even more stars.
This small, unassuming restaurant serves delicious food. However, the chef made too much rice and ended up throwing away the leftovers instead of saving them. The decor could use some improvement.
Regular hibachi spot. The waitress was ok. We had to wait for a while in-between service and we had 5 people. The sushi was great. The hibachi was middle of the road. The sake was too hot; it burned myself and another person I was with. 6/10 overall.
Excellent food, service, and price. Went during lunch and it was very busy but they didn't rush us and had excellent service. I don't think my drink got to half full before a fresh one would be brought out. All requests were promptly take care of and food was great. Truly exceptional.
I usually dine at this restaurant for dinner, which costs around $30-50 per person (totally worth it!) But if you don't have that kind of budget, I recommend going for lunch. It's much cheaper, with the same quality of food and less crowded. The chefs may not perform as many tricks during lunch service, but it's still enjoyable to watch them cook. The servers are always friendly and attentive, and I look forward to returning here again.
