Pasta Mia - South Elgin

What a delightful experience! When I think back to my childhood, I can’t help but remember a special place where I always loved to eat, and this restaurant will hold that memory for me. The staff is exceptional, the food is fantastic, and the cozy atmosphere invites you to sit down and enjoy a refreshing Italian ice cream. Speaking of which, the ice cream is incredible and surprisingly affordable—I plan to treat myself to one every Friday!

It’s not a bad spot for a quick break. You can dine in and savor delicious pasta dishes and authentic Italian ice cream. The pizza by the slice offers some intriguing options too.

The dining area is quite small, so it's not ideal for large groups; it's better suited for couples or small families looking for a quick bite. Also, keep in mind that they don't offer well drinks, so you'll need to bring your own or opt for canned or two-liter options. While the dine-in experience isn't the best, it’s clear that this small establishment focuses on takeout. And considering that the staff also handles phone orders, things could be much worse. This is a family-run business, so everyone pitches in to help out. On the bright side, their delivery service is excellent—always on time and the food arrives hot. Overall, the food is amazing, and if you live nearby, I highly recommend opting for takeout or delivery!

The pizza is the best in the area. Wether by the alice our a all to take home you can't go wrong. The staff is nice and friendly. My only complaint is that the lights must be turned on. It's a beautiful place, and I didn't know that until an employee turned up the light. Atmosphere helps to enjoy the experience and your meal. If it's dark, it's depressing and who wants to eat in a dark cellar.

I had an excellent experience at Pasta Mia. I have been there twice this week for their Italian beef pizza. The employees at Pasta Mia are very nice and attentive. There pizza is delicious!
