Stanley's Grill Craft - South Elgin

The chicken and pulled pork were exceptional. The food arrived promptly and was served piping hot. The beer selection is consistently great, and the peach margarita was delightful. The staff is cheerful and friendly, and playing bingo made for a fun night out.

My wife and I arrived at Stanley's and the sign said seat yourself. So we did and we watched the waitresses walk past us with no acknowledgement that we were there. Finally someone came over and apologized, we are assuming maybe an owner or manager. We ordered drinks and dinner with no issues. Drinks were decent. We ordered burgers for dinner. The food was so so. Seemed like typical bar food. Nothing special. If I had to guess the meat for the burgers seemed like it was premade and bought at a grocery store. Nothing like a nicely made burger at a restaurant. Probably won't be returning for dinner, going out for drinks only with a group I could do, as the bar itself was decent and not overly crowded.

Despite the hidden location, setback in the shopping center and front block by CVS at the corner of MCLEAN road and Spring street. It is a nice neighborhood location. Warm welcome and fresh updated repairs. Many nice nice areas to seat and enjoy a game, meal or just a drink with friends. Good assortment of menu items for food or drinks. Great deals on eat and fresh food. Large bar to seat and a game area. Come enjoy the pizza, freshly made and with a 60oz pitcher for only $12 how can you go wrong.

Only my 2nd time here wanted to check out the free bar bingo (which was fun btw, liked the big screens to follow along even if I couldn’t always hear) but I noticed that almost everyone had ordered food and it all looked smelled great. That tells me that the more regular people like the food too!

I visited this restaurant with a group of about 12 people as part of a wedding party. We were just looking for some simple snacks and drinks during a break before the reception. Unfortunately, the owner was very rude, making us feel unwelcome as if we were an inconvenience. The dirty looks and snide comments made it clear that our presence was not appreciated, despite the fact that we were a small group. I've always enjoyed this place, but my feelings have definitely changed.
