Contribuisci feedbackOn our second visit to this restaurant, we were very impressed by the quality and variety of food. Two of us tried the Steak and Ale pie, which received excellent reviews. The other two had the tuna steaks, which were also rated highly. The pub had a lively atmosphere, a great selection of beers, and friendly and helpful staff. One suggestion for improvement would be to clear the bar area of stools and people to make food ordering easier for both customers and staff. Despite this small issue, we had a wonderful evening of delicious food and drinks and look forward to returning soon.
We had yet another fantastic Sunday roast at this restaurant. The Yorkshire puddings were amazing, large, light, and incredibly crispy. We also enjoyed a delicious home made mixed fruit crumble for dessert. Overall, the meal was absolutely excellent.
I returned to the restaurant to try the food under the new chef, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the sea bass served on a bed of herby mashed potatoes with mussels. It was a very enjoyable dish.
A great inn, a little off the beaten track but very much worth a visit. It's family owned, all members being very friendly and welcoming. They have a great chef too. He produces good looking and very tasty food. Try it!
