The Old Mail House

My wife, friends, and I went to this restaurant to watch football. The staff was very friendly, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the burgers were fantastic!

We came to this pub on a Saturday evening not realizing they served food, as we were just there for some live music. We had already made a reservation at an Indian restaurant across the road, but when we saw the menu at the pub (which included burgers and hot dogs), we decided to cancel our reservation and try the food here. We were so pleased with our decision to stay. My husband ordered 'the cowboy' burger and I had 'the normal one,' and they were both fantastic. These were the best burgers we've had in a long time!

The recently opened pub now serves food, and it is absolutely fantastic. It lives up to the positive reviews I've read about the menu. They offer a great variety of beers and ciders, as well as five big screens for watching sports. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, two pool tables, and a dart board. The pub also has a nice beer garden.

Popped in to try the new food menu (2 4 1 burgers on Tuesday) I had a veggie black bean burger which was really good and had loads of taste (not always the case in veggie food) and my boyfriend had The Cowboy with onion rings, BBQ sauce and bacon which he loved. Portion size was really good and comes with fries. All homemade authentic American food we will definitely be back to try the others!! We sat in the beer garden on a lovely summers day locals were friendly and the service from staff was good.

Popped in for a quick beer and stayed for food! Didn't know what to expect, but WOW was the outcome! The burgers was awesome and my wife got the Veg Burger and couldn't stop raving about it! Even had to swap ideas with the Chef! We will be back!
