The Turnpike - South Gloucestershire

I visited this restaurant while I was staying with family. I had already looked over the menu and chose the jacket potato with aubergine chili and Coolidge mature cheese. The jacket potato was on the smaller side, topped with a slice of Coolidge cheddar and a small spoonful of chili. It tasted delicious, but overall, it was a very underwhelming meal.

I am not one to give compliments easily, but I must say that I highly recommend Oliva at this restaurant. She is extremely dedicated to providing excellent customer service and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards. Oliva and the rest of the team work together seamlessly to provide amazing value for customers like myself. Oliva has a wealth of experience in a fast-paced environment and truly excels in her role. The staff at this restaurant were supportive and welcoming, making my family and I feel appreciated as customers. I frequent Turnpike on a weekly basis because of the exceptional service provided by Oliva. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Oliva as an 11 – she truly stands out. The restaurant would be a better place if more people exhibited her exceptional skills and dedication. Oliva is an incredible person with unique talents.

I always return for the food at this restaurant. I had a reservation tonight and once again received excellent service.

Absolutely fantastic meal.There we’re 8 of us and every dish was perfectly cooked.Lovely chap serving food.Chef is a brilliant cook.

First time visiting this place. Ordered drinks and then ordered the food. I was told it would take around an hour for the food as busy. It was an hour when the food arrived and my partner and I both had the fish meals with mushy peas. The mushy peas were stone cold so-called the waiter and said the peas were cold. He brought out hot mushy peas. This should never have happened. Next time i visit i hope it is not such a long wait for the meal. Overall, food was very good
