The Salcombe Creperie - South Hams

Fabulous crepes, almost like being in france. nicely cooked, and fast, so with the ten minute drive back to our accommodation they were still hot and tasty.

This restaurant gets very busy at night, and it could use more staff and a better process to handle the crowds after the bars and restaurants nearby close.

Following my previous review in July 2018, I am happy to report that the crepes at this restaurant are still delicious and flavorful. I highly recommend them.

During an evening stroll, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a crepe restaurant. The crepes were all freshly made and absolutely delicious. I tried the Grand Marnier crepe and it was amazing. They even accommodated special combinations that weren't on the menu. It was a wonderful way to end the evening, enjoying a tasty crepe while overlooking the harbor in the fresh air. I even passed on dessert at another restaurant just to get a crepe from here on our last night.

The gluten free crepes here are huge and the best I have ever had. All of the fillings are gluten free so there is lots of choice. Staff were knowledgable, asking if I was coeliac, and then cleaned their equipment to avoid cross contamination.
