Big Bertha's Grill - South Heidelberg

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, but I was disappointed when the grill closed half an hour before the stated closing time. We were told we could continue to eat until closing time, but we were unsure of when that was.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The rolls were terrible, too dry and there was too much bread for a sandwich. My companion had a cheese steak and I had the chicken cheese steak, but neither had much flavor. I suspect there was something wrong with the food as I felt unwell the next day without getting too personal. The only bright spot was the good draft beer selection.

The fries appeared and tasted stale. I ordered a cheese steak, but it seemed like they included a lot of mist in it. Additionally, the cheese steak was lacking in flavor. Despite its large portion, I would not suggest this dish.

My fiance took me to this place, spur of the moment. Their ham is by far the best i have ever had in my life. Its fresh,refreshing and delicious! I wish they sold it by the lb, its that good. I had a ham and cheese wrap and my fiance had a 10 inch grilled ham and cheese that he could not stop eating. And the fried mac n chez. So good. And their corn nuggets thingings are also really good. This place is a gem!

The fresh cut french fries were delicious!! The kids loved the chicken tenders meals. Our burgers were average...the bun looked nice, but was dry and too much bread. Nice little patio available to sit outside.
