Hackett's Orchard - South Hero

The orchard was well-maintained and the staff were welcoming. They offer a playground for children and a tour of the property on a tractor. The orchard was beautifully adorned with pumpkins and gourds. The highlight was definitely the fresh and delicious apple donuts. They had a variety of apple options and a well-stocked store. We spent a pleasant hour there and enjoyed our visit.

I purchased 2 dozen apple cider donuts for $16 each and they were awful. You can find better tasting ones at Hannaford.

The store area, parking lot and playground were very busy this trip, but on days that they are not so crowded, it's a very beautiful ride and well worth it. Their apples are better than the ones, of the same variety in the grocery stores. My favorite orchard.

We love Hackett’s Orchard! I’ve been coming here and loved it since I was a kid, but I’ve gotten my New Yorker husband and friends to love it as well!! ?????

It was great they had the best cider around going back to get some.more
