I took my girlfriend here to celebrate our just getting together because I wanted to find someplace different. We went at dinner time and NO ONE was there. It took a bit to realize it was in a hotel, and a Holiday Inn at that. One woman was running the bar and restaurant. She couldn't find my reservation. I had to pull it up on my phone and she still couldn't find it. I told her I'd call OpenTable right after we left to tell them we were there and to call this place. Luckily, I got a confirmation shortly after we were there. She was great to attend to us, but it's not like she had a choice since we were her only customers. The food was actually quite good. The environment clean and inviting. But I would never plan to come here and plan for it unless you were staying at the hotel. No need to come here for any reason. This was the lowest quality OpenTable restaurant I've ever been to. They just don't seem to even know they are connected with OpenTable.
The restaurant at Holiday Inn maintains its reputation for being average with this particular establishment. Although the decor was pleasant, the lone hostess/waitress/bartender/room service employee limited the quality of service. Fortunately, there were only two other couples and one individual dining at the same time as us. Unfortunately, the bar was out of my top three beer choices, and I was informed later that they also ran out of the sauce for the fish I had originally ordered. I ended up switching to the ribeye that my companion had chosen. The steak quality was subpar, with a significant amount of gristle. Despite both of us ordering our steaks medium rare, my date's steak arrived well done, likely due to sitting under a heat lamp while awaiting my replacement order. While the waitress did offer to replace the overcooked steak, by that point, the experience was already tarnished. Aside from the pleasant and peaceful ambiance, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
The waitress provided excellent service, however, the kitchen was slow. It took over an hour to receive a cheeseburger. My wife ordered a steak, but they claimed it was burnt. They offered another entree, which arrived after the cheeseburger. Thankfully, the salad dressings were brought on the side as they were incorrect. Despite the mostly empty restaurant, the service was disappointing. They offered a free dessert or to remove one entree from the bill as a gesture of goodwill.
Holiday inn holds its call for mediocre restaurants with this facility. while the decor was very nice, which was a person host / expect / barkeeper / room service personal limited service quality. we had lucky that only two more couples were present while we ate. the bar was from my first three beer choices from the menu, and after we had ordered, it was told me that they were also from the sauce for my fish. I'm gonna turn on the nativity my date had ordered. the quality of the steaks was marginal, with much gristle. we both ordered medium rare, but the steak of my dates came well done, probably because sitting under a heating lamp while waiting for the delay for my steak order. Although the waitress offered to replace the oversized steak, the meal until then was quite over. Apart from a nice quiet, comfortable facility, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
The waitress was great, but the service from the kitchen. for a cheeseburger over an hour. my wife ordered steak they said they burned. We never saw it, but then they said they were out. they ordered another escape that came after the hour of the Chessburger. they brought salat dresses on the side because they misunderstood them. all with a restaurant that was mostly empty. they were friendly enough to offer a free dessert or take away a escape.
